Spring 2024 Individual Course Descriptions

January 15th - May 10th


  • HST 210 - Archaeology & Geography of Bible Lands - New Testament: This course covers the geography and sites of interest involved in major New Testament events. Students will learn how geography impacted events in the Bible, and will gain new understanding of NT events by visualizing the places where those events took place. (3 credits)
    Meets Mondays, 10:00am-10:50am & Block Course: Meets January 15th, 16th, 17th, and 19th, 8:30am-3:30pm.

  • MIN 140 - Evangelism & Missions: This course will help prepare students for redemptive living in a culturally and ethnically diverse world. They will gain understanding of their own culture and other cultures from a biblical perspective, as well as skills in how to share the gospel effectively with all kinds of people. (3 credits)
    Meets Mondays, 8:00am-8:50am, and Wednesdays & Fridays, 10:00-10:50am.

  • PSY 210 - Biblical Counseling: This course will examine the following aspects of biblical counseling: definitions, history, biblical and theological implications, models and theories, characteristics and qualities of counselors, personality disorders, major difficulties facing the different age groups and biblical solutions. (3 credits)
    Meets Tuesdays, 9:00am-11:50am.

  • SPE 210 - Oral Communications: This course examines skills for effective oral communications and public speaking. Students will engage in experiences intended to improve their speaking and listening skills across a broad spectrum of situations including public communication, small group interaction, interpersonal communication, relaying information in a teaching or leading role, and interviewing. (3 credits)
    Meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:00am-9:50am.

  • THE 110 - Survey of Bible Doctrine: This course will provide the student with an overview of Christian theology. Special emphasis will be given to doctrines such as the Scriptures, the nature of God, the plan of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, man, sin, salvation, prayer, the church, angels, and end of days. (3 credits)
    Meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:00am-8:50am.

Financial Information

For individual courses, tuition is $135 per credit ($405 for a 3 credit class).

Anyone who wishes to audit a class would pay $100 per course.

For former ITE graduates who wish to earn their associate degree, tuition is $360 per course ($120 per credit). Talk with Taunya about what classes you will need to complete your degree.
